Bilu was a blue balloon with a special glow. He lived in a party store, hanging in a corner along with other balloons of different colors and sizes. While the balloons talked about the day they would be chosen, Bilu dreamed of flying high and bringing joy to people. But at the same time, he was very afraid of popping and disappearing forever.

One day, the store received a special customer. A woman came in to buy balloons for her daughter Nina’s birthday party. Among so many balloons, she chose Bilu. He was excited but also very nervous. “Can I handle it?” he wondered. Tied to a colorful ribbon, Bilu was taken to the party.

When he arrived at the venue, Bilu was amazed. It was a backyard full of smiling children, tables adorned with sweets and cakes, and cheerful decorations. He was tied to a table full of treats, along with other balloons. Despite being in such a beautiful place, Bilu couldn't stop thinking about the fear of getting loose and popping.

As he watched the children playing, a curly-haired girl approached the table. It was Nina, the birthday girl. She looked at Bilu and noticed his worried expression. “What’s wrong, little balloon?” she asked with a smile. “You look sad.” “I’m afraid of popping and disappearing,” Bilu replied in an almost inaudible whisper. Nina giggled and said: “You don’t need to be afraid. Do you know why? You’re here to bring joy. Even if you’re not here one day, the happiness you bring will last forever.” Nina’s words touched Bilu’s heart. He looked around and saw the children laughing, playing, and having fun. For the first time, Bilu set aside his fear and decided to enjoy the moment. He swayed gently in the wind, feeling part of the joy around him.

That day, Bilu learned a valuable lesson: what matters is not how long something lasts, but the happiness it brings while it’s there. From then on, he was at peace with his destiny, knowing that his glow and joy would be part of that party’s memories forever.
