Lily was a very cheerful little bunny who lived in a flower-filled clearing in the forest. One day, she decided to pick strawberries for her family. With her wicker basket, she hopped from bush to bush, choosing the reddest and juiciest strawberries she could find. When the basket was full, Lily looked at it with pride. “My family will love it!” she thought.

On her way back home, Lily met her squirrel friend, Tito. He was sitting under a tree, looking hungry. “Hi, Tito! What happened?” asked Lily. “I didn't find any nuts today and I'm very hungry,” Tito replied. Without thinking twice, Lily took some strawberries from her basket and offered them to the squirrel. “Here, try these! They are delicious.” Tito thanked her with a smile and ate the strawberries, feeling refreshed.

Further along, Lily saw a bird on a low branch. He looked sad, with his wings drooping. “What happened, Pip?” she asked. “I lost my song today... I'm not in the mood to sing,” said the bird. Lily thought about how she could cheer him up and offered some strawberries. “Try eating these. They are as sweet as your music!” Pip tried them and soon began to hum a cheerful melody. “Thank you, Lily! You made me feel better.” As she approached home, Lily encountered Juju the turtle, who was walking slowly with a tired look. “Juju, you look exhausted!” said Lily. “I'm returning from a long walk and my feet are sore,” replied the turtle. Lily smiled and gave the last strawberries from her basket to Juju. “Eat them, they will give you energy!” Juju ate slowly and thanked her warmly: “You are very kind, Lily.” When Lily finally got home, she realized her basket was almost empty. A little worried, she entered the kitchen and was surprised by a delicious aroma. On the table, there was a fluffy and golden carrot cake, made by her mother. “Lily, this cake is for you, as a thank you for always being so generous,” said her mother.

Lily smiled, feeling her heart warm. That day, she learned that sharing brings joy and acts of kindness always come back in unexpected ways. Since then, Lily never hesitated to share what she had, knowing that shared happiness is the greatest gift of all.
