In a tranquil lake, surrounded by tall trees and colorful flowers, lived a turtle named Luna. Since she was little, she heard the forest animals comment on how her name was beautiful and special, but she never understood why she had been given that name. One day, as night fell, while resting at the lake's edge, Luna noticed something different in the water.

There was a silvery glow gently dancing on the lake's surface. Curious, she looked up and saw, for the first time, the moon in the sky. It was huge, round, and luminous. Enchanted, Luna felt her heart beat faster. “Now I understand why they call me Luna!” she thought. Inspired by that discovery, she decided: “I need to touch the moon in the sky!”

Luna shared her plan with her best friends: the rabbit, the duck, and the fish. “How can I reach the moon?” she asked, full of hope. The fish, swimming happily, suggested: “I’ll push you from the water! With my strength, you’ll be able to jump really high!” Excited, Luna tried. The fish pushed with all its might, but Luna only managed a small jump, barely touching the lake's surface.

Then the duck, flapping its wings, said: “I’ll help you fly! Let’s try together!” He tried to lift Luna off the ground, but she was too heavy for his fragile wings. Luna sighed, discouraged, until the rabbit, with his intelligence, had a brilliant idea. “Let’s climb the big rock at the lake's edge! From up there, you’ll be very close to the sky.”

They all worked together. First, the fish helped Luna cross the water to the shore. Then, the duck carefully pushed her with his wings, and the rabbit guided the group to the top of the big rock. Up there, Luna took a deep breath and stretched her neck as far as she could. Looking down, she saw something magical: the reflection of the moon shining in the water. With a gentle touch of her paw, Luna exclaimed: “I did it! I touched the moon!”

Her friends celebrated, clapping and laughing with joy. In the sky, the moon seemed to smile at them, illuminating the lake with even more brightness. Luna realized she didn’t need to reach the sky to be special. She was already unique just the way she was, with wonderful friends by her side.

From that day on, Luna never wished to reach the sky again. Instead, she learned to appreciate her own light and the beauty that already existed around her. And every night, when looking at the moon's reflection in the lake, she smiled, feeling like the most special turtle in the world.
